Installation ARE YOU THERE is travelling to a cultural hub, Subtopia. You can see the outdoor installation next to the Subtopia entrance up until almost the end of October 2026! On 23rd of October, the installation travels to Kulturhuset Stadsteatern on Sergels Torg where you can visit it for another two weeks.
ARE YOU THERE?
is a twin installation connecting Prague and Stockholm through two identical booths, one placed in each city. The installation is the result of a collaboration between PRAHO! project, studio PANK, and creARTive.
The installation explores the idea that people living in different places may have more in common than they expect. It captures both similarities and differences between everyday experiences in Prague and Stockholm while exploring how people feel about the city they live in. Through questions about home, belonging, connection, and loneliness, it invites visitors to reflect on their relationship with the place they call home.
By creating an offline dialogue between strangers who will most likely never meet, Are You There? offers a space for honest, anonymous sharing and asks a simple question: Can we feel close to someone we've never met, simply by listening and sharing?
Subtopia
is a creative hub in Alby, Botkyrka, where artists, creatives, filmmakers, circus companies, and non-profit organizations come together to develop ideas and bring them to life.
Kulturhuset Stadsteatern
is located in the heart of Stockholm at Sergels Torg and is one of Sweden’s most visited cultural institutions. Every day, all year round, you will find a wide variety of things to see, hear, eat, do, and experience—from theatre, exhibitions, and concerts to debates, as well as a wealth of culture and activities for children and young people.
